Rod has significant experience in lifting works, including many multi-storey heavy structures. His drive to deliver perfection led to House Lifter’s reputation for providing unique, engineered solutions for even the most challenging projects and sites.
Rod’s insistence on excellence means never settling for the ‘status quo’. To provide clients with the most precise, timely and cost-effective results possible, he travelled to the Netherlands for additional training with the largest hydraulic specialist in Europe. Rod continues to research advances in technology used internationally for heavy lifting and levelling.
Prior to establishing House Lifters, Rod also worked on multi-level Commercial construction projects such as hotels, retail, and project managing tenancy fit-outs at Christchurch International Airport, including First Class lounges.
Stuart Moore
Managing Director Christchurch
Stuart (Stu) Moore is a very experienced Licensed Building Practitioner, and Platinum Certified Builder.
Stu did his Apprenticeship in Carpentry and Joinery in the late 1970’s - building homes in Lower Hutt. Never afraid of a challenge, he then built schools in the Papua New Guinea Highlands. On his return, Stu started his own business building cottages, re-levelling and renovating older houses in Wellington and Hutt Valley.
From 1986 in Christchurch, Stu worked on Residential and Commercial new builds; including multi-level Commercial construction projects, Christchurch International Airport, and Government contracts.
In response to the Christchurch and Canterbury earthquakes, Stu formed House Lifters with Rod Moore. Stu’s knowledge, skill and experience were instrumental in House Lifters becoming the only New Zealand company providing a complete Lifting & Levelling service.
Stu also oversees House Lifters’ Renovations division.

The lift went well and House Lifters were very efficient at providing information and documentation to the Engineer; you can tell they have sharp systems in their office. The ‘close-out’ paperwork was sent quickly too - e.g. Producer statements, Warranties. Quite often contractors move on to the next job and you have to chase them for paperwork, but Rod fired the paperwork through quick-smart.

Barry Knowles

Barry has considerable experience in the provision of Jacking equipment for heavy Lifts of various types, and supervision of Lifts. This includes, following the Canterbury earthquakes, designing Lifting equipment and checking setups for Lifting and Sliding houses.
Rufino Javier Beligon

Rufino (‘Yetz’ to friends and colleagues) is hardworking, flexible and very much a team player. Before moving to New Zealand to help with the Christchurch rebuild, he was a Civil Engineer in the Philippines.
In Christchurch Rufino provided technical assistance to architects and main contractors; including job site inspections, cost estimates and tendering of bids.
Rufino also brought his knowledge in Quantity Surveying and material cost estimates to House Lifters - having previously worked as a QS and damage assessment Team Leader.
Javier Ruiz Saz

Javier’s extensive experience in the construction industry and background in Quantity Surveying and Project Management, has given him a thorough understanding of building processes.
In Europe, Javier project managed Commercial hotel renovations (worth $27 million NZD), plus standard and luxury Residential new builds in Spain.
Javier’s innovative approach to problem solving ensures all work is completed up to standard, on time and within budget…. Whilst making sure everyone involved is kept updated.
Malina Moore

Malina joined House Lifters in 2016 - after many years in a successful teaching career, she was looking for a new and exciting challenge. As her understanding of the lifting and levelling industry has grown, Malina has become critical to the back-office management of our business, and in helping to drive the continued success and future expansion of House Lifters Ltd.
Ying Wang

Ying obtained her Master of Professional Accountancy and Finance in Massey University, then joined in House Lifters to expand her career into management, especially from the aspects of sales and finance.
Ying has engineering education background and 12 years successful experience as sales manager in Vallourec S.A., one of the Fortune 500 international corporations in industrial sector. Her rich and cross-functional experience contributes to an insightful understanding of the business development and corporate finance management.
Mojde Sharifi
Office Manager

Graduate Diploma in Accounting
After finishing a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Mojde worked as an Assistant Accountant in a housing agency. She moved to Christchurch in 2015 to study for a Graduate Diploma in Accounting. After roles at PKF Goldsmith Fox, and McKellar McCallum & Co, Mojde joined House Lifters Ltd. Motivated and energetic, she keeps the office running smoothly and oversees financial accounts.
George Bailey
Site Manager
George oversees the House Lifters team which undertakes High lifts, Sliding, Re-levelling and Underpinning - a team which George regards as the best in the industry.
George has many years of experience in setting out and excavating foundations. Before joining House Lifters, George specialised in heavy construction; supervising concrete panel placement, and co-coordinating large crane activity for many tilt panel buildings in Christchurch and Canterbury.
George sets the standard for his team - always striving for perfection.
